Privacy Policy

This is a private, self-hosted tool for a small group of trusted users. We collect only what's needed to run it.

What we store

• Your username, a bcrypt hash of your password, email, and display name.
• Your preferences, inventory/watchlist entries, and trade-up history — tied to your username.
• Login timestamps for basic operation.

Steam data

When you ask us to value or sync a Steam inventory, we retrieve Steam data only at your request: your SteamID, public profile name and avatar, and the contents of the public Steam inventory you provide. For a logged-in sync, we store that inventory snapshot tied to your account (so you can view and value it); for the logged-out public lookup we keep only a short-lived cache keyed by SteamID, not retained as personal data. You can clear a synced inventory by re-syncing or asking an admin to delete it. Stored data lives on our server in the European Union (Hetzner).

Steam data is provided to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, and may be changed or withdrawn by Valve at any time. Verstato is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation; Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

What we don't do

• No third-party tracking or analytics.
• No selling or sharing of your data.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request a copy of your data or its deletion at any time — ask an admin, who can remove your account and all associated data.
